Unfortunately, I was not feeling well and could not go. However, my roommate Nicoleta came back very excited and told me what a great experience it had been. They had fun and met a lot of new people. She also told me they had plenty of delicious food.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that all the TEA fellows zho took part at the food bazaar had a lot of fun. W enjoyed not only meeting all these students from different countries and getting a little bit closer from their cultures by tasting their foods, but also the feeling that we were all playing active parts in it. I only regret that I didm`t get to participate in the making of the Moroccan food, but my countrymates made me very proud!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for me, I was assigned to a place were people were suppose to ask for information but nobody ever asked anything.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I think the Bazar was awesome. They really put a lot of work into it. I think it was extremely successful and I wished we had that many people from different nationalities in my country to be able to make something similar or better.
Great Job MSU.
I hope this time it will work!
ReplyDeleteIt was really great! I enjoyed every minute of it! I was paired with Elias to greet people at Gate A! It was really interesting to see how many people would attend the Bazaar. You could also find a great variety of food and lots of national costumes from all around the world. There was beautiful music and dances and people enjoyed the Native American dance and their costumes, just wonderful!
Meeting people from different parts of the world was great fun!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately,I didn't go to the food bazaar because i had to meet one of my friends in bozeman.I am sorry for not attending this great ceremony.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed meeting a lot of people from different parts of the world. It was great to see a variety of food and drinks. Also It was nice to see men from Saudi Arabia dancing or giving a show about their music. The best for me that El Salvador was present.......
ReplyDeletei really enjoyed participating at the food bazaar last saturday. I feel that being there with so many people around the across the world, was such an enriching activities i have had in life. It was so cool to see so many cultures all together in the same place and try so many international dishes as well. This is one of the experiences i will never forget in my life. i was really so glad to volunteer and help pou during this wonderful unforgettable experience.
ReplyDeleteIt was really exciting to see so many people from different countries especially in Montana ,which is mostly homogeneous. But it was rather disappointing that I didn`t see either the flag of Georgia or Armenia.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the food bazaar a lot. But the Polish food offered at the bazaar was NOT Polish! What a disappointment. PJ
ReplyDeleteand the girls were not polish either!
DeleteIt was great to meet students from different corners of the world. I met girls from Kazakhstan, it was so excited!
ReplyDeleteIt was surprising for me to see how many people in Bozeman like out door activity, they came with their kids, tried food, enjoyed entertainment. I stood at exit C, door, checked stamp on hands and watched crowds of people, I heard "thank you for help" thousand times. It's new and unforgettable!
ReplyDeleteThe Food Bazaar was the great opportunity to meet students who represented different cultures. The service activities gave us a chance to experience new dishes, music, tastes of the world. I learned how to organize the food bazaar. Our volunteers helped to run this event and to share a wonderful time with others!
ReplyDeleteThis is Maurice Dapilah.I really enjoyed the food bazaar because I saw a lot of people from different
ReplyDeletecountries who prepared different types of foods which I bought and ate.I also took a lot of pictures
on that day and I felt very excited. Also,I witnessed a lot of different dancing groups.
As for me, I liked to be a part of Bozeman community and participate in such a fantastic international event. I found myself in a global community and had a wonderful chance to see the students from all over the world, though I didn't meet the Ukrainians there. But I was excited when I found Ukrainian flag among the all countries.
ReplyDeleteWhat i learned from MSU international students, is that all of them are willing to teach people every where about their cultures and traditions. I learned how proud they are about their countries and their customs and they could display that through their food and their attires. That was amazing. I so glad i was part of this wonderful international food bazaar.
